Ideological Attack on Hindus: 4 Stage Demoralization

Recently, my attention was drawn to an ideological attack on Hindus based on discussions, reminiscent of studies conducted abroad, about which groups have historically perpetrated the most violence. The names often mentioned include Christians, Communists and associated Leftists, and Islamists. This is relevant because today, right here in India, we see the active presence of forces aligned with some of these ideologies – specifically Communists, Leftists, and certain intellectuals labelling themselves as Socialists and Progressives.

I believe a specific strategy is being employed to attack on Hindus, particularly by one of these groups, to undermine the very fabric of our society, targeting the majority Hindu population. This strategy unfolds in four distinct stages, a model of subversion described by thinkers like Yuri Bezmenov:

  1. Demoralization: The first step is to attack and erode the core moral and ethical values upon which our Hindu society stands. They work tirelessly to create hatred and doubt about our traditions, our scriptures, and our cultural heritage.
  2. Destabilization: Once the moral foundation is weakened, they exploit this to sow discord and create social unrest. By attacking our institutions and polarizing our people, they generate instability within our nation.
  3. Crisis: This instability is then pushed towards a full-blown crisis – be it social, economic, or political. In this chaos, they aim to paralyze our society and create a power vacuum.
  4. Normalization: Finally, during or after the crisis, they seize the levers of power. What was once unacceptable – the disdain for our values, the rejection of our heritage – is made the new normal. They impose new values, often completely alien to our ethos, and cement their control.

I firmly believe this dangerous blueprint is being executed right now in India. The specific aim? To cultivate apathy and indifference towards our Hindu Dharma in the minds of Hindus ourselves.

Now, observe carefully. While people from Christian or Islamic backgrounds might hold critical views, it’s relatively rare to see them openly use despicable, vulgar, or extremely low-level language against Hindu beliefs in public discourse. This doesn’t mean resentment doesn’t exist, but there’s often a different approach.

However, there is one particular group – the Communists, Leftists, and the self-proclaimed Socialists and Progressives – that I consistently see engaging in the character assassination of our most revered figures. They target Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram, Bhagwan Shri Krishna, the great Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and the valiant Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The language used is often beyond mere criticism; it is crude, vile, and intended to denigrate their character and legacy using the lowest forms of expression.

Demoralization of Hindu Society

This brings me to a critical question for all of us Hindus: Why do we often remain silent or choose to ignore these vicious attacks when they come from this specific ideological quarter? Is this silence truly our Dharma-Abhiman (religious pride)? Does it reflect our Dharma-Nishtha (religious devotion)? Or – and this requires deep, honest reflection – does our religious pride and devotion only awaken when we perceive a challenge from Muslims? It is absolutely essential for every Hindu to engage in serious contemplation on this.

Why is this so critical? Because the very feeling of ‘Rashtra Pratham’ (Nation First) is deeply ingrained in our Dharma and this demoralization of Hindu society is harming that. Our traditions teach us the importance of protecting the nation, and historically, Hindus have done so. Therefore, creating apathy towards Dharma among Hindus is not just a religious attack on Hindus; it is a direct assault on our national spirit. By disconnecting Hindus from their roots, from the very source of their values and national identity, they are being subtly steered towards ideologies that could incite rebellion against the nation and its inherent Dharmic foundation. This is a matter of grave concern and demands urgent contemplation.

Dharma needs voice!

This land, this Hindu Bhumi, is blessed with the sanskara (cultural and moral imprints) of Dharma. This is our true morality, our ethics, our precious heritage. Bhagwan Shri Ramchandra is the primal deity, the guiding light of this ancient land.

I always emphasize one crucial point: Our Dharma, our roots, are not born from some mere foolishness or superstition. They are grounded in a profound philosophy. It is imperative that we contemplate this philosophy. The philosophy of our Dharma is subtle; it reveals itself only to those with a subtle intellect. Understanding this depth, this subtlety, is not just important – it is the absolute need of the hour.

This understanding is our strength, our shield against the forces seeking to demoralize and destabilize us. It is time for serious reflection.

That’s all for now.
